About Title 24?

• All new, altered, or repaired buildings in California must prove they comply with the Building Energy Efficiency Standards described in Title 24 Part 6 by the California Energy Commission. Building owners need to show the permitting office that the designs are energy efficient to reduce wasteful and unnecessary energy consumption in newly constructed and existing buildings. See below for some examples of documents we provide to document compliance with Title 24.
